Day 2-3: Banff National Park
The next leg of my journey took me to the world-renowned Banff National Park. I marveled at the turquoise waters of Lake Louise, hiked to the Johnston Canyon, and rode the Banff Gondola for a panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. The breathtaking beauty of the Canadian Rockies left me in awe.
Day 4-6: Vancouver
From Banff, I traveled west to the coastal city of Vancouver. I explored Stanley Park, walked along the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, and sampled diverse cuisines at Granville Island Public Market. The city's blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty made it an unforgettable stop on my journey.
Day 7-9: Delhi - The Capital of India
After bidding farewell to Canada, I arrived in Delhi, a city bursting with history, colors, and aromas. I visited the iconic Red Fort, explored the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk, and marveled at the intricate architecture of Humayun's Tomb. Delhi's rich heritage and vibrant street life left an indelible impression on me.
Day 10-12: Agra - Taj Mahal and Beyond
A short trip from Delhi led me to Agra, home to the world-famous Taj Mahal. Witnessing the sunrise over the Taj Mahal was a magical experience, as I soaked in the grandeur of this architectural masterpiece. I also visited Agra Fort and enjoyed the bustling markets and delectable street food of the city.
Day 13-15: Jaipur - The Pink City
Continuing my journey, I reached Jaipur, known as the Pink City for its stunning pink-hued buildings. I explored the magnificent Amber Fort, visited the Hawa Mahal, and wandered through the vibrant bazaars. Jaipur's rich cultural heritage, vibrant arts and crafts, and warm hospitality left me enchanted.
Day 16-18: Udaipur - The City of Lakes
My next destination was Udaipur, often called the Venice of the East. The city's serene lakes, palaces, and havelis (traditional mansions) offered a glimpse into the royal heritage of Rajasthan. I enjoyed a boat ride on Lake Pichola, visited the City Palace, and witnessed a mesmerizing sunset at the iconic Lake Palace.
